Happy Easter- Scrapalicious USA Challenge

Hello everyone.  Today we have another fun challenge beginning at the Scrapalicious USA Design Team Blog. The theme is Easter!  With a theme like that, I expect everyone to want to come and play. (we try to keep it fairly simple for you all :))  Today I created a card using the ever so adorable stamp from Mo Manning.  I will link where you can get it for yourself at the bottom of this post.

The supplies I am promoting on this card are from the TrimCraft Company out of the UK.  Scrapalicious USA has a lot of these very nice quality papers and supplies available at remarkably low prices.  The 6x6 paper pad here was only $4.01!  There is also a sale going on right now where if you pop: Clearance15% into the promotional code at check out you get even more off on your entire order!
(Just as an added incentive...you can even use this code on the COPIC MARKERS available at the store...those are hard to find on sale anywhere!)

Fairly Romantic

Good afternoon readers.  Today I wanted to share a pretty card I made over the weekend.  I found a very fun site where you can download free vintage stamps and images.  Check it out here.  I decided to put together this card using one of the images there and my Copic markers and some Bo Bunny Papers from Scrapalicious USA.  I finished it all off with quote from Romeo and Juliet to make it all the more romantic.

Scrapalicious Challenge- A Cut Above

Today marks the 2nd challenge with the fantastic new Design Team for Scrapalicious USA.  The theme this time around is "A Cut Above"...so, that means anything that entails a special cut.  Thinking, die cuts, paper punches, fussy cutting...you get the idea!  I was in a coloring mood and thought I would pull out one of my Shelley Bean Stamps (since Scrapalicious USA sells them at her store) and make a card using the ever so pretty Bo Bunny paper I got also at Scrapalicioususa.com!
There are so many tools available at Scrapalicious USA to make your cards, layouts and paper projects complete.  Here are the items I used:
Skin: E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair:  E50, E53, E57
Dress:  R85, R83, R81

Webster's Pages--Oh, so pretty!

Paper Patch Crafts has some of those beautiful Webster's Pages products available at their store.  These are the kinds of papers you would rather hoard that cut up and make into something.  But, being the dutiful Design Team member that I am, I took scissors in hand and came up with this ultra feminine card.  I hope you like!  I also hope you come look at the products available at Paper Patch Craft!!  Be sure to come and join us  at Facebook for all the updates and challenges!

"Kiss Me" I'm kinda Irish...

Okay, not really Irish.  According to my lineage my ancestors hailed from England and Germany.  But, with St. Patrick's day upon us, we all get a little Irish.  Right?

At Copic Marker Scrapbooking, they are celebrating with some new St. Patrick's day digital images.  There is even a free one with the new release.  Please go check it out. In the words of Colleen, the owner of CMS:

St. Patrick’s Day is a beautiful holiday. It celebrates St. Patrick, who evangelized Ireland in the fourth century. He was a Welsh Roman Citizen who was kidnapped and sold into slavery in Ireland. After escaping, he later returned to Ireland. It’s said he drove the snakes from Ireland, but that’s a metaphor for the snake torcs that the pagans wore, which were discarded after St. Patrick spread the Gospel.
Our stamps drawn by Guy Gondron tell the story of St. Patrick, they begin with some of the imagery related to the primitive Irish mythology and move through St. Patrick’s mission. The stamps are available at www.copicmarkerscrapbooking.com Enjoy the story our Design Team is telling with their work…
And here are the designs I worked with as my part of the story.  Please go check out the rest of the teams'!!

Another Challenge

Using a drawing made by my dear friends son that recently passed on, I created this card using his inspiration.  Anne at Paper Patch Crafts has a challenge going on right now.  Here are the specifics:
You are to create a card or layout using my sons drawing as your inspiration. I want to be able to recognize some part of my sons drawing in your project. I also want you to tell me why you picked that part of his drawing and what it means to you, when you post your project. You have until March 18th at midnight to complete your project and post it on this wall. All entries should be original and new artwork. The prize for this challenge is the Florals Embellished Cricut Cartridge
Please come and join her in remembering her son and his talents while we take a moment and share our own.
I was inspired by the musical pathway and liked the flow of it all so tried to interpret that with the jewels on the music themed paper. The color scheme to me set the mood for the design.

Prima!! New Mini Album Adventures

Good morning and happy Saturday!  Today I am sharing with you the newest mini album I made featuring the gorgeous new Prima Marketing "Sun Kiss" Collection.  The colors and textures are all so yummy!  Paper Patch Crafts carries this and more of the new collections now.  Please go check it out and see all the cheery new products available!

All of the papers, flowers and mini tiles are coordinating.  There are many other elements  available.

This mini-book design idea was created by Laura from Following the Paper Trail.   She has so many ideas  for mini albums that I always use her for the source of my inspiration.  The bones of the album was created with mini white paper sacks.  There are multiple tags and photo mats throughout the album all sandwiched between a sturdy chipboard cover.

I hope you enjoyed looking at this fun little album.  I will have more items to share soon featuring more new products from Paper Patch Crafts from Prima Marketing as well as Webster's Pages!

Time for some Layouts!

I have been holding out on you.  I created these 3 layouts awhile back and decided now was the time to get them posted to share with you all.  First of all let me tell you that I love Websters Lace.  Having the opportunity to be on the Design Team for Paper Patch Crafts has given me an opportunity to play with their laces and paper.  I will be sharing with you some of the fun I had doing that here:
First of all...welcome to the world our "Little Leland" my new grandson!  Here is with his daddy (my son).  The paper and embellishments were provided by Scrapalicious USA.  The beautiful lace embellishments by Paper Patch Crafts.
